I found a work-around last night, by moving everything that had "sent"
as part of the name from the "/home/mydir/.evolution/mail/local folder.
Evolution created the folders and it is working now.
I found expunge under folder-expunge, but it didn't seem to do anything
to the folder, the messages r
I just began receiving an error message:
Failed to append to local `Sent' folder: Cannot append message to mbox
file: /home/myhome/.evolution/mail/local/Sent: File too large
I moved all the files in the sent folder, while logged into evolution,
and the folder appears to be empty yet the message p
I have been having problems with the Gmail POP account lately, it used to
work fine, and the problem started with out making any changes to settings.
I get a:
Failed to read a valid greeting from POP server 72.14.247.109
return when issuing a send / receive command.
Other email accounts work fi
I run Evolution on two computers, one running Fedora 6, and one running
Debian Etch. Both have the same settings for the accounts, and on the
Debian machine I receive a warning:

I have noticed that the cursor occasionally vanishes while I am typing
an email message in Evolution -- it returns after about five seconds or
so, bringing with it all of the text that was typed while it was gone.
It happened four times while typing this message.
Is there any solution to this prob
