icon-only unless I do a mouse-over, in which case it gives me a
pop-up summary of unread emails. The pop-up remains only as long as the

I don't get that error with any regularity, but on the odd occasion when
it crops up, I shut down evolution for a few seconds, then restart it.
It's a cludgy suggestion. But it works for me. Others may have a more
elegant, long-term solution.

I have to say that Jpilot, although not integrated with email, seems to
operate much more harmoniously with Palm PDAs than Evo seems to do, at
least in my experience. Perhaps life will get better with 2.8!
