Hi,
I have direct experience of the filtering issue, and it's to do with the
upgrade. If you look in the filter editor, you'll see that the target
folder for messages on Exchange servers is missing. I had to go through
and manually reset the target folder for each one. Local folders were
OK.

Hi,
Is there a plan to
have someone build the above for at least Novell's Linux products? SuSE 10
would a good start ;-)
I've been trying to
build an exchange-ready version from the sources, but either I'm getting it
wrong, or 2.6 has some of the same problems as 2.4 and

Hi,
I managed to build
the 2.6 packages, and sort of found my way through the ./configure
mysteries. I managed to get exchange operations support switched on, and
the axchange interface appears to be working, but it's crashing on GAL name
lookups.
My biggest
uncertainty
Hi Sushma,
Did 2.6 get released, and if so, where can we get it?
P.

Hi,
I had a similar problem. It turned out that evolution/exchange had somehow changed the account setting (in edit>preferences, edit the exchange account, receiving email tab) from plaintext password to secure password. Changing it back to plaintext sol

Hi both,
This looks like my bug #323535, so a word of expansion for Steve..in my case, the folders continuously get forgotten, often after only a few minutes of normal activity, and always on a restart of evo. That m
The situation with evo/connector just seems to get worse and worse. Not content with crashing every time a calendar invite email is opened, it has now begun forgetting the settings for the draft and sent folders. They get blanked every few minutes, for no apparent reason and sent items appear

I've suffered this a few times.
The problem for me was that any filter which moved a message ( as opposed to a delete), didn't work, and triggered that message. It seems that the destination folder ID is somehow broken by copying the XML file from an older account to a new one - even alt
A while back, just after SuSE 9.3 was released, I asked this question, because Red-carpet or rug was a great way to keep evolution up to date. At that time I was assured that it was just a matter of a short time before the channels appeared for 9.3.
Here we are, on the threshold of 10.0, and
I've had bug 267330 open since 2004-10-01. I've tried many different versions of evo/connector on various different versions of SuSE linux.
At present, connector is hanging evolution up to 100 times a day. Anything to do with calendars or the global address list usually hangs the whole tool
