Composing a new email, composition window has drop-down box "Plain Text".
Directly to the right of that is another dropdown box.
I have to manually select "Preformatted" every - time.
Is it possible to tell evolution that I would like it to default to

On my laptop here running Ubuntu Bionic, adding a sigfile works great!
And it properly appends the "-- " to the end of the message body.
However, when creating a new message there is no space inserted between
the message body and the signature, requiring a "click+" to properly
separate them.
