I see exactly the same behavior when I try

userid. Strangely enough, when I use ximian-connector-setup-2.6, it
sets up the account perfectly, but evolution is then unable to access it.

Thank you, II had to upgrade my Debian packages, but now I do have
/usr/lib/bonobo/servers/GNOME_Evolution_Exchange_Storage_2.6.server
