I don't think I have received a pdf in the last 6 months that I can open
inside Evolution. It's rather annoying, because I get many a day and I
usually only need to open and review the content in them, not save them.
It is part of an approval workflow process.
I have also noticed that I cannot op
When I get an attachment with one of the newer MS formats (like *.xlsx),
evolution does not recognize that it can open them with OpenOffice. It
only give me the option to save them or open with text editor. If I
save them, Ubuntu has no problem recognizing that OpenOffice can open
them. But mos
Me too. I built a simple shell script that does basically what Reid
suggests. I have to run it a couple of times a day to keep up. To keep
the re-syncing time down, I use filters to move all my Exchange messages
into local folders to manage them. But this is in technical violation of

If the fax was attached as a tiff file, as many are, then the problem is
that not all image viewers support multi-page tiffs. Evince does, you
might try it. I was installed with Ubuntu on my machine.
Assuming you are using a recent version and have the side-bar turned on
(view|layout|show sidebar), right click on the exchange mailbox in
sidebar, open properties and check "Make default."
You can also check the box "Show only this calendar," but I cannot see
that is does anything.

Evolution 2.12 on opensuse 10.3 locks up after one or two replies. The
lockup occurs at the next reply attempt.
Whatever crashes, crashes hard. Sometimes locks up the entire Gnome
desktop. Closing evo with --force-shutdown does not fix the problem
(that is, when you open it again, it locks on t
My calendar appointment times have shifted again about a week in advance
of the end of EDT. I am in America/Indiana/Indianapolis but I have
tried America/New_York.
I suspect it is an error in when EDT converts to EST -- which has
shifted by a week or two for the first time this year.

Just upgraded my opensuse laptop to 10.3, which pulled Evo to 2.12. I
like it, but my exchange account no longer works. At first, everything
appeared to be empty in the account. So I deleted it and tried to
re-configure. I cannot get past the authentication step in the exchange

I am using openSUSE 10.2 and Evolution 2.8.2 I have not been able to
get my Palm TX to sync at all. Crashes, resets the Palm, sends gpilotd
off into CPU loops. Very ugly.
I have heard that syncs work with Evo 2.10 on openSuse 10.2, but since
the openSuse repositories don't have it, I have been

I just updated an openSUSe laptop to 10.2, mainly because I wanted to
upgrade Evolution. On startup first time, Evo would not launch and
reported that it could not find libgnutls.so.12.
The Suse upgrade apparently upgrades gnutls and installed
libgnutls.so.13. I am a little afraid to roll gnut

I can right click on some things and remove them, but not all.
Anyone know how to remove these old footprints?
