Hi Jamie.
I had a similar problem. What I did was change the server settings from
Exchange to anything else, save it and close. Then I just opened it up
again and set it back to exchange. Then it worked.

I think I might have solved the problem. I went in on the file structure
and gave the folders and files under (hidden) home/.evolutionlocal/
the necessary permissions.
