I have a strange problem in that when I try to select text when I am
composing an email the background and foreground text do not change
colour.
It looks like no text has not been selected, but in fact it has been,
and clicking underline or bold would change this text accordingly.

I though the same even though everything shows up fine in Gmail.

It is always the same source for the email, and the mail header looks
nothing like the example that you have sent.
When forwarding I am still using Evolution.

I have problem that when receiving emails where jpg and gif files say
unknown attachment type. Then the graphics are not shown in the email.
If I forward the same email then all the graphics are shown.
For most emails I receive I have no problems to view graphics, only in
