Yesterday I had an error while trying to get mail via POP.
Error While Fetching Mail:
Cannot get message B8..{a whole bunch of hex digits}: input/output
error.
This stopped me from getting ANY mail. I eventually solved it by using a
webmail interface, figuring out which message was bad, and d

Can anybody point me to documentation on how evolution handles junk
mail? Meaning what rules it is using. As near as I can tell I have the
function turned on, and as near as I can tell, it has never flagged
anything as junk on its own. I get a number each day that are
"obviously" spam, from address
Probably a stupid question, but does Evolution provide a means for me to
find a message. As near as I can, The Search menu only works on the
currently selected folder, but if I knew which folder it was in, I
wouldn't need to search for it since I'd already know it was there. :)

Wow. I kind of gather from what I read that it was the
gnome component that changed.
I was more or less expecting a response of "well,
dummy, that's what the so and so compon
"Evolution - Mail" and never changes. Is there a way for me to
get it to show if there is new mail.
Didn't see anything in the help files on this. All I saw was playing a
sound when mail arrived, but that is not an acceptible option.

move the mail from the old distro to the new one. I
did google searches and searches on Evolution's web
pages, but couldn't find any instructions on how to do
this. The best I found was how to
