I'm running Evolution v3.2.2 on Mint-12 and cannot edit contacts.
I can open and display contacts applet and select one entry to edit.
I can make changes of any sort to the contact data form.
When I select OK, evolution crashes.
Many readers will suggest that I get a new-er edition of EVO.

Evolution shows that I have one(1) unread message for one of my email
accounts.
Every other way I look at that account shows zero(0) messages not read.
This is an IMAP account.
Any ideas how I get everything to agree that all of the messages are
read?

Some light amongst all of the smoke:
It seems the trouble affects edits to HTML format more than TEXT form
messages.
My suspicions:
1. type into the compose window
2. content gets "rendered"
3. 'cut' edit the content -- "render" needs to refresh
4. 'paste' edit the content -- "render needs an

SYMPTOMS:
I cannot cut/paste anywhere in the TO, CC, BCC, areas of a compose
window.
If I cut/paste within the body of a message, the content does not redraw
automatically
and it is problematic to force a refresh of the compose window.
If a message gets sent to a distribution list (alias list in

It appears that filters only work the first time that EVO fetches a

I'd like to do some things like the following:

I have Evolution v2.28 running on Ubuntu v10.04. That edition puts file
into
$HOME/.evolution (dot-evolution) folder.
The newer edition of Evolution v on Lucid Mint-12 (Ubuntu 11.10)
puts files into $HOME/.config/evolution in a gnome-compliant manner.
I, too, struggle with this problem:

I tried printing to file as PDF and still had troubles.
My resulting page has 1/4-inch margins -- far too small for what the
printer supports.
My request for 80% scaling, scrunched output up and left with a 1/4-inch
top and left margin.
I could read the PDF image in this result, but could not get
I too have this problem with Evolution v3.2.2 from the Linux Mint-12
distro repositories.

Folks, I'm new to the list and have not studied the list archive. I
hope I'm stepping in carefully
