ubuntu 30.04 and have been able to install evolution 3.40.0-1.

I suppose those "missing" events from the Month view are recurring
events. The recurring events are not expand

I hope I'm sending this to the right place :) I'm having issues with opening
links through the evolution mail client.
I'm using qutebrowser and when clicking links in emails or links in the app
itself (for example the evolution website in the about window) I just get a new
window of the browser
