I'm sorry for asking so many questions. I am new to Evolution, so It is
going to take me a couple weeks to get use to it.
I am needing to know if EVO has this option:
In Thunderbird I had all of my pop3 accounts set to the following
* Leave mail on server
* Do not delete emails from the server

Hello All,
I just found out the hardway Alias's are very tricky in Evolution. At
least it is for this Evolution noobie.
The last email reply I just sent.. I kept getting an error stating that
I couldn't sent email anonymously or something like that.
It turns out I had to go to edit> preference

I suggest you use Reply To List wherever possible (Ctrl-L). It works as
long as someone doesn't break the thread by using Reply All in the
middle.

We have a break through!
When it comes to the folders CM ARCHIVES
What I did was the following and this actually worked:
Create a folder under LOCAL FOLDERS IN thunderbird called 2018TEST
Now under my regular emal account where my emails are stored
go to " CM'S ARCHIVES" > 2018 > IN"
Edit >
Now open Evolution
Create a folder tree ARCHIVES > 2018> IN
Then do the file > import > 2018TEST folder
Store the emails in 2018TEST in Evolution
click next!
I was then able to import all of those emails into Evolution! and all
3,485 emails were there and fully intact! ( well, I didn't real

Hi,
off-topic stuff should indeed be as short as possible, but IMO it still
wasn't much off-topic noise.
If even a relatively short off-topic discussion continues, there could
be reasons to open a new thread, by not only changing the subject, but
by really starting a new thread, by not replying t
Hi Ya'll,
I have a question about off topic stuff.
I know some message boards, that i have been on in the past that allow
some off topic talk, but to a certain extent. And then you're forced to
take it 1 on 1.
Why do they allow it to a certain point, and then you're forced to take
it 1 on 1

One of the PAs where I work puts the subject of every single email in
all caps. I've told her that it's quite rude in email netiquette and is
the equivalent of shouting - doesn't mat
