Indeed, downgrading to gtk3-3.8.4-1-x86_64 solved the problem :)
Thanks a lot!

Oops, I experience the same issue here, but wasn't aware about it, since
I just tested it before writing
I forgot one package, that anyway isn't installed here and your version
btw. is up to date.
https://www.archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/xf86-input-synaptics/
$ pacman -Q xf86-input-synaptics
error: package 'xf86-input-synaptics' was not found
FWIW I'm running Xfce.

Dear Evolution-Team,
since a few weeks I am suffering from filechooser problems in evolution.
Mouse controls are pretty much gone. The only way to navigate to some
place is to enter the path into the adress field. If one happens to be
in a path above the desired path it is possible to navigate

That's what Preformatted is for.

Nope, I hacked the Editor, so it puts dir="rtl" for the necessary elements
in the HTML it is composing.

Hey,
Just in case someone else finds this thread, I'll say I hacked GtkHTML
(quite badly, as I'm no C programmer) to make all my messages RTL.
It's a bad and dirty solution but it works for me.
I really hope moving forward to WebKit in the composer would take RTL
languages in account.

I have no idea what changed, but suddenly, the junk filter started to
work.
