[Evolution] How can I prevent Evolution from storing IMAP mails in filesystem?

Hi, I'm using Evolution 3.2.1 on Ubuntu 11.10 to access my IMAP server. The "automatically synchronize remote mails locally" checkbox under "mail accounts" -> "receiving options" is not active. However, Evolution obviously creates an mbox file containg every read message under ~/.local/share/evol
