Sometimes these kind of troubles can be fixed selecting "Direct
connection to Internet" in "Connections options" of your Evolution
setting's.
Just to be sure: Is Linux Mint 11 your OS? Is Evolution 2.32? Is
running on Gnome or other desktop?
