I'd like to be able to run the backup-restore plugin as a cron job
periodically.
This command almost does the trick,
/usr/lib/evolution/2.32/evolution-backup
--backup /home/portsample/EvolutionBackup_$(date +%T_%F)
Output from the command is:
** Message: evolution --quit
** Message: rm /home/

Hi list!
I need some help with connecting to an IMAPS server. I'm using Evolution
2.30.3 on Ubuntu 10.10. It was working fine for several weeks, and then
a few days ago stopped being able to get any messages. I did some
wiresharking and discovered that it makes a TCP connection on 993 like

Is there a bottom line to this problem? I just spent a half hr reading
various reports about this problem (seems to go back many years) and all
I see are work-arounds. Did I miss a solution or is there none? Is it
just a Ubuntu problem?
I switched to Ubuntu 10.04, which provides Evolution 2.28.3,
I'm using IMAP with my Gmail account. If I create a search folder
(within specific folders such as Inbox and Sent), then it all works
fine.
If I want the condition to include messages sent AND received from, say,
John Doe, then I create two conditions: one as "Sender contains" and one
as "Recipi
