I just went to check the various news groups I'm subscribed to and
notice that evolution has lost/forgotten about all of the newsgroups I
was subscribed to!

This looks like a generic exchange plugin bug.
If you create a exchange addressbook as a sub folder/sub address book from a
parent address book, and then delete the parrent, the sub address book does not
disappear
There appears to be something seriously broken in the Address Book.
On Monday I sent a couple of time-critical emails to a small group
