Since Linux may become more popular in the future to where nongeeks use
it I would like to suggest a slight improvement to Evolution email.

offline" which i

search for locally stored emails.
But that only seems to work for words made of english
letters. E.g. search for words in Cyrillic KOI-8 encoding doesn't
return any results.
Is it possible to do such a search in evolution?

After years of working fine, Evolution (2.22.1.1 on openSUSE 11.0)
suddenly began putting email from my wife (coming from the same mail

Thank you Patric. I was able to recover the mail by using the
new .evolution directory and copying in the necessary folders. I will
also try to do the merge for a few other folders.

python.
I actually wrote a fakeplugin once, where I just defined a shortcut in

you're doing) -out of site out of mind doesn't work for me. I know there
still there. and my quota will soon remind me if I forget ;)

Hi,
I'm a little embarrassed to ask but can someone shed some light on the
following:
I use IMAP in maildir format with my host(off-site). When I delete a msg
I get the expected strike-thru appearance. In order to actually delete
the msg I must Expunge manually. When it's "expunged" it doesn't ge
I do not believe this is really a problem with either Linux (Ubuntu
9.04) or Evolution (2.26.1), but thought I would check to see if anyone
else has encountered it. I've been complaining about this to my ISP for
several months with no results.
A small percentage of incoming messages to me bounce
