I've just finished building evolution 2.22.1 from source, and I'm
getting the following, on execution:

OK, so I take responsibility. Tor, you were correct. Changing
em-folder-browser.c's definition of vfolder_store to an extern seems
to have fixed the problem.
Problem verified to be fixed.

No, I hadn't...I didn't realize that the suggestion was aimed at me,
rather than a general, "evolution ought to move in this direction, in
the future." I also wasn't sure if this might have consequences,
outside of this issue.

Nobody else has any idea on how to fix/work around this problem? As
far as I can tell, Evolution can't currently be built on Darwin with
this symbol conflict issue.
