I have noticed on my main notebook (which I use Evolution as main
e-mail) that there are some problems with things like the address book
(I can't add new items) and the auto

I was a little wrong. It turns out, I found them when I unhid deleted messages.
(I had so many, they were hard to spot.) It's a good thing I don't expunge
deleted messages immediately!!!

I was converting my account from POP to Imap, and the first part of that
process was to move messages from my inbox "On This Computer" to my imap
inbox. (I've done this same thing tons of times on other mail clients)
So I selected them, and moved them, and they disappeared. Completely.
