Wouldn't it be faster to open the saved message in a browser and save
the image directly (right-click for example)?

3) locate the image, remove non-image data and save;
4) run mmencode -u -b < /tmp/message > result.jpeg, this is to decode
BASE64;

items that are deleted should be there. I have show deleted but nothing
shows up.

I am a recent convert to Linux - CentOS 4.4, then 5.0 to be specific.
I had a ton of email in my Outlook folders that I wanted to import
into Evolution, but it doesn't do that. The recommended method was to
convert to some other, supported email program and then convert from
there to Evolution.

I've recently started using Evolution 2.6.3 on Debian Etch. It appears
that whenever I try to print any plain-text messages, only the headers
get printed - the message body is blank. However, printing mixed
text/HTML messages seems to work fine.
