Is there a depot or step by step instruction somewhere to upgrade from
evolution 2.6 to 2.8?
I'm running SuSE 10.1 with Evolution 2.6.0-41
So pretty much a default load with patches from Suse 10.1
After struggling with issues with 2.6, and reading that there are many
bug fixes with 2.8, I'd real
So I added a bunch of contacts into Evolution and when I use the "To:" button
only six show up (out of around 60). I entered them manually (vs.
importing) and all the same way. I can't seem to figure out why this is
happening. Any suggestions?

You have to compile evolution-data-server BEFORE evolution-2.8.
And then, type
export PKG_CONFIG_PATH=/usr/local/lib/pkgconfig
Then configure and make evolution-2.8
Hope this helps.
Nicolas.
