I agree but doubt it’s related to being cold. Closure is induced by a magnetic
field. I would think it would behave this way no matter what the temperature
was.

Every few days, I have been getting an OverTemperature alert
on my OpenEVSE. What is curious is that it happens when it's cold out.
Is it trying to keep itself warm, and getting overheated?
