Hey folks, calling all photographers with extensive collections here :)
I'm working on a prospectus document for a new round of GNOME sysadmin
sponsorship/funding, and I thought I would include a "before vs after"
section. But just having text for that would probably not be as striking
as I would
Just wanted to say thanks for starting this, I think it's a great idea.
Kinda surprised we didn't already have something like that!

Hey folks,
There are a few things that the foundation board has been up to in
recent months that will be worth taking the time to write about. Namely:
- We have signed an agreement with WHS (Wau Holland Foundation) to have
them handle funds (receiving and spending) in Europe on our behalf. That

While I'm on this mail frenzy, I might as well share this food for
thought: it occurred to me, when discussing with someone from a field
completely unrelated to Free Software and the circles we usually hang
around, that Joe Plumber visiting the GNOME website would never know
what GNOME actually is

To be fair, I've seen "worse" in terms of divergence. The changes Korora
made are fairly minute and superficial in my humble opinion, and I
certainly would not want to discourage them from being enthusiastic
about shipping GNOME. Looking at that page you mention, they even took
an effort to make it
Hey folks,
What should be the length (in words, or characters) for articles in the
annual report?
I can guess the length of the introductory letter from previous
editions, but I'd like to know the "standard" expected length of
sections such as the report on the Groupon case (hoping to prepare that

Huh, that's interesting. I thought that sure, you shouldn't edit an
article about yourself or something extremely close to you, but that we

The finalized draft (version 6!) of the intro letter is now present on
the wiki, under the /Letter subpage for your perusal!

FWIW, to the main page I added a link to Jakub

Why not just do a 'git mv "annual-report-2014" "ann
Thank you for the awesome work, Andreas! :)

Actually, I purposely did not include my signature as I believe this to
be a security risk: we have had occurrences

Out of curiosity, I looked into how the current Scribus file for the
report is done, and it looks like this
Alright, here is my big list of nitpicks. If there are no objections I
could fix them tomorrow or this week-end.
Also, I'd like to retroactively correct the previous year report's date
to reduce confusion.

Alright, all changes applied and pushed. You can see the history (for
the time being, that is) on

it'll have to be regenerated again with print colors & crop m

Technically, I do have access to a color printer but I'm not sure how
many prints its near-empty toners could do, and
