And Best of Season's Greetings. Here's an equivalent Australian press release from last year that includes links to the local mandatory requirements. < https://www.accc.gov.au/media-release/accc-investigates-as-button-battery-products-fail-to-comply-with-information-rules-to-keep-children-safe >

[PSES] Conducted emission - LISN vs. current clamp

2024-12-17 Thread amund
Clamp is ok for investigate DM and CM currents. LISN for formal testing at lab. Right now, the plots of CM and DM currents are almost equal over the whole spectrum (10k - 30MHz). Surprise? In the same setup, using a LISN, the spectrum is quite different regarding peaks and waveform. I know

If we take what he says at face value – that cm and dm are almost equal, then we expect the LISN measurements on line and neutral to look quite different, because on the line side the cm and dm signatures add, while on the neutral side they subtract. -- Ken Javor Ph: (256) 650-5261

We’ll need a lot more information on what you’re testing, the test setup configuration and how you’re measuring DM and CM. Can you share some photos or screen captures?Usually there will be a difference between DM and CM current spectral response. Now Line and Neutral from a LISN will like look the

From my experience, I would seldom expect the current probe and the LISN to show the same answer. The big difference is that the current probe is looking at a fairly random termination impedance compared to the "Line Impedance Stabilization Network", which is reasonably stable in its design. An

We see these same topics recycled by the CPSC every year. Same goes for NFPA warnings every thanksgiving on turkey friers. Surprised I haven't personally seen the Christmas lighting warnings yet. ~ Doug On Tue, Dec 17, 2024, 11:35 AM Bruce Maule wrote: > And Best of Season's Greetings. > > Her
