sorry for not being able to make it to the meetup yesterday. Life came
in between and I was kept busy all afternoon fighting (very
unpleasant) bureaucracy.
I intended to update you on the progress of the feature branch, which
is basically ready for more testing.
My idea/wish would be to start

Summer schedules got the better of me, but here's the first of hopefully
several patches to address this is small pieces rather than trying to
commit to one large chunk of work. Tests pass locally and I added some new
ones as well.

I’m looking for users of org-publish to have ideas on possible configurations
