Just to remind you the encoding warning does not occur with the same files using the emacs 28.1 with orgmode 9.52 included. The characters that trigger the warning are ones that are not found in UTF-8 and since I do a lot of editing of web documents and do not correct them until final output. org

#x27;ed to a disk on my home computer and I have redundant backups. About one month ago upgraded to orgmode 9.6 using elpa and about a week ago I started getting an encoding warning when i would tell emacs I wanted to quit. The warning indicated the offending characters but they were in an unformat
