I tried to open the org.el file in $EMACS/./lisp/textmodes/org.el and
its contents are proper.
It does not seem to be corrupted.
Also I renamed the org.elc file and tried to start org mode again but am
getting the same error.
Would you want me to forward you the org file? Since i
