Hello,
For standalone org files that are not part of any larger project, I
often use RCS as my revision control system. RCS will make a file
read-only when you /check in/ changes, waiting for the user to
/check out/ the file explicitly for further changes. I like the way
this works.

with the most up to date org, I am having a problem exporting to
latex, specifically if there is a link to an image. See the attached
example with emacs and org version information. The error in
*Messages* I get is:

I'm trying to write a shell script in order to convert/export Org files to
LaTeX/PDF from the command line (org2tex/org2pdf). The whole process works
well, except that it seems that some bits of the exportation are not executed.
Here's an example of what I do.
