This morning, I updated my packages (Options -> Manage Emacs Packages -> U
->X) and now, internal links work perfectly.

The problem has something do do with org-mouse.el -- if I go to Emacs
customize "Org Modules" and uncheck:
"mouse: Additional mouse support"
