I've tested this now in Linux, and it fails there too. Remember, we're
talking about the timeline, typically accessed by "C-a L"
Is this something I should report to a bug log?

Yes, oodles of other dates.
My initial test was with +90d. And looking through 2011, I saw the four
dates listed in my previous reply.
