I got this too on an install of the latest iso; something about a hash
mismatch that prevented me from doing any apt procedures. I googled the
error and found an Ubuntu Forum thread that had me delete a file and
then everything worked. I'll look into it again.

Still, can't we please remove it? We're getting far too many people on
#elementary who have installed and asking for help.
Also, the iso doesn't even boot for most iso burning apps, only on
Unetbootin, so it doesn't really pass the Does It Boot test either.

fooling users. Sure, they know it's unstable before downloading it,
