with this thread and was tempted to follow some points, specially with Granite.

I’ve been trying to get the latest Isis builds to work on VirtualBox and
Parallels with no luck (I’m on OS X 10.9). All I got is the installer screen
(which works), but I cannot get into the installed OS nor test the liveCD, all
I got is a black screen. I’ve tried restarting Lig
I was thinking about a visual programming experience for the end user who might
be unfamiliar with bash. Also, depending on implementation, the app could reach
beyond the scope of elementary, becoming useful for other distros. Just my two
cents.

I want to develop some small apps for eOS, such a notepad app. I also
want to take advantage of GTK 3.10 for Isis. Still, since I cannot use
Luna for that AFAIK, which distro are you guys using right know as
development heads towards Isis?
