Yay! Maybe some blueprints linking to some mockups and how they should be
implemented would be helpful?

Hi David,
Presumably this means that icon themes will not need gtk-stock icons? Or is
this from a coding perspective only?

I think all of the Gnome apps are very similar to the elementary apps
anyway - toolbars, CSD - the HIG even refers to the Gnome HIG.
I believe the Software Center is also worth looking at, especially if it's
any faster than the USC.

At least we're doing better than Android in terms of our language
tolerance... XD
On a serious note, last time I read the HIG, it was mostly a set of UX

The thing about vala is that its simple enough to learn, but is still very
powerful and is extremely fast. The best thing is that it was made for Gtk,
which is perfect for elementary.
More languages would mean that we wouldn't have unity across the
applications - I do however, think that this woul

So if I understand correctly, in TDD there is a specific bit of code (lets
call it C) that you build a test for. Then, instead of using the
application and trying to trigger code C, you invoke the test which
directly calls code C and then reports a result based on whatever input you
gave it, right?

No, in 13.04 the ayatana indicator internals probably changed so that it is
different than what it was in 12.04...

I have an idea for a new GtkSwitch image in the eGtk theme. See the
attached file.
This new GtkSwitch is skeuomorphic, and more intuitive from a user's POV (I
think anyway). The user can immediately tell what to do, as they can relate
to a light switch in real life, and therefore know the clicking
