I have a friend across town who has a KPA500 built from a kit Aug 2017 SN 33XX who has never used his K3S or KPA500 on17 m and just got an antenna for 17 and lo and behold NOTHING he does will allow operation on 17. He normally always used the Utility to change bands etc .So he took that
