You can buy spacers for #14 insulated house wire that would also work wonders

I think so. Wayne thought I may have a record for the shortest build @ 26
hours. But I think Don would easily beat that with all his experience and
skills. We have both concurred, however, that with the time that has passed
neither of us have the speed of the 1990's. Such is aging.

The back pack frame would be the antenna? Low power is the game. I am not
concerned. In the Vietnam era, I was in a station where we had ~5 10KW
transmitters using wave guide at ~1.9Ghz and while there were very large
dishes, the exposure was there. I would never worry about HF at 10 watts cl

I have these items, built for sale. They are excess to my needs.
Asking 75 for the package including all items, plus a couple of bonus
surprises. These are QRP devices and would work well for portable. Used with
my KX1.

Chokes are not directional. Check your board for solder bridges and let us
know what find. Since the board is mostly discreet parts, start looking at
the battery connection and work your way into the circuitry. Is a part
blackened, or very dark?

On this list the subject comes up regularly. I have some issues when a
feedline or antenna looks great, until I hit it with 1500 watts. Check you
antennas and connectors, then come back let us know what you then find.
Antennas and feedlines can fail or cause what you are seeing. 10-100 watts
Paul, I do not witness what you are seeing. You may also have an antenna
issue, slight but problematic?

Great graphing. Impressive. I know from experience going from 500 watts to
