Don, Your comment reflects where I think I am at the moment - I would like to use various headsets with the K2 without having to change the K2 to be any other radio or radios than a K2. Although Elecraft shows a ProSet-K2 on their website, I can't find an adapter-only part anywhere. 73, Byr

I have an Elecraft K2 with KBT2 Battery Option. I also have a West Mountain Radio CBA (battery analyzer). Can the CBA test the KBT2 by simply connecting the CBA to the 14VDC input connector, or does the battery need to be removed? Thanks! 73, Byron _

Many thanks to Randy N4TVC for his help in getting my second-hand K2 on the air. Last night I was able to get the K2 and a K1EL K40 interface on the air and work VI9NI on 30 meters. It was quite a thrill for me to have my first call a QRP contact with Norfolk Island! I'm going to remember that
