I reregistered to Ekiga and did it properly this time. The test call
during the set up went well. I tried the test call after the setup was
complete and it failed to connect to it and there is not record of the
call in the call history. In the URL box I had entered:

btw, installing ekiga in a different OS in a virtualbox in ubuntu on the
same pc (the beta 2.0.11 exe on ekiga.org) works with no delay at all,
in spite of being natted twice (once by the router and once by the
virtual network of virtualbox)
I'll try to follow your rqst.
Just to be sure: somethi
This camera looks attractive because it has both autofocus capability and a
Carl Zeiss lens. I'm assuming it uses the Linux UVC driver since a predecessor
Orbit camera does. What experiences (especially problems) have people had with
THIS SPECIFIC CAMERA while running Ekiga under Linux. Tnx.
Of the three webcams I've looked into recently, this one seems to have the best
prospects for working decently with the Linux UVC driver. Does anyone have any
practical experience with it using Ekiga under Linux? Does the autofocus work
under Linux? Tnx.
