I'm relatively new to both Ubuntu and Edubuntu. The World Computer
Exchange sends refurbished computers to classrooms in developing
countries. We often ship machines with languages other than English
installed.

Ch
ed my laptop(Ubuntu 10.04 + Edubunt package) to Spanish.
Open Office, Firefox and a couple of the Edubuntu educational packages(GCompris
and Chess) switched to Spanish.
The other packages did not.
Are the language packages for the educational packages in Edubuntu available?
Thanks

I see three challenges that we are facing:
How do you provide content to no/low bandwidth schools?
Specifically how can we best provide public health content on our
donated computers?
How can we provide classroom/school management software to our partners?
Best reg
literacy program? Or secondarily does anyone know of free online
resources that could be used to support such a program
Thanks
