Which channel and image did you test this on? I noticed locally that
when creating events in the calendar app, they show up as alarms in the
indicator. But I have never had the issue of clock alarms showing up as
calendar events (nor can I reproduce it on rtm r1 mako). That has to be
regression.

Today I tested on ubuntu-rtm/devel-proposed image 49 and noticed the following
behavior,
- Enabled Alarms show up as alarms in the indicator-datetime
- Disabled alarms show up as events in indicator-datetime (known issue bug
1361702)

@charles, since clock app cannot read gsettings, could you perhaps
expose this as a dbus settings (similar to the alarm settings
properties) that clock app can then read and enable seconds if
indicator-datetime is showing it?

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. The clock app does not
follow the gsettings show-seconds. Confined apps afaik don't have access
to read gsettings. That said, it is a good idea to respect the settings
of the user by following the indicator-datetime preferences. Will talk
to the design
Could we try to target this for OTA-8 or even OTA-9 consideirng it is
quite a nuisance that alarms cannot be heard if headphones are used to
listen to music while sleeping.
