You're right. I tried again and it works as expected but sometimes it
seems to not be grabbing the 4 fingers because if I do the 4 fingers
gesture without any application open, I can see a select area on the
background.

Some translations are not loaded

Sorry, I've been confused by a link from a spreadsheet to the upstream
project instead of the ubuntu project. The translations are corrects.
The problem is that indicator-sound.mo is not installed on the device.
It should probably be installed by language-pack-touch-XX

When the device is resumed by pressing the power button and the device
is not connected over USB to any power source the clock on the greeter
and the date/time indicator is out of sync.

Yes it is the same indicator-bluetooth.mo is not in the language pack. I
verified and it is in latest upload (1:14.10+20140903) It should be
fixed on next image build with this version.

It just happened for a system update notification. Here is the output
(slightly reindented) that shows 2 identical x-canonical-message-actions
sections:
