I don't remember Pidgin ever showing numberes in the launcher (but the
screenshot provided here looks like it's from 11.04, which I didn't
use), so I don't think it's a new issue in 14.04 in its case. It would
be nice to have though.

Unity launcher icon edge illumination is offset

Especially annoying since if a user opens it to see the date, then does
so on the next day... it will show the same date as before (i.e. the
date of the previous day). I can only get it to reset by logging out or
restarting.

I guess this can cause real-world problems: I just scheduled a meeting
for an incorrect date since I was viewing the wrong month. Though in
fairness it was partially my fault since I knew about this bug. Any
