Public bug reported:
New scrollbars in wily (2015-06-04?) are hard to see (lack contrast) in
Gnome Terminal. It's a light-grey scrollbar on a slightly-less-light
grey background.
Strangely, the new overlay scrollbar in other apps like Nautilus is a
slightly different grey with better contrast.
*
This might be a blending issue. I recall from Compiz days that Gnome
Terminal is unusual in that it's an RGBA surface (has an alpha channel).

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug report. The clock app
displays the digital time following the user locale and using standard
Qt.locale() functions. I would suspect indicator-datetime is at fault
here.

All,
This will be SRU'd into Trusty at some point. We have another SRU for
Trusty that needs to get done. After that one is released into

I see this too on a HiDPI display. I was able to workaround it by using
Steffen's suggestion:
$ sudo cp /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/notify-osd
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/notify-osd.real
Then creating /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/notify-osd with:
#!/bin/sh
set -e
export GDK_SCALE=1.0
exec /usr/lib/x86_
As a workaround I would suggest to implement felixw83's proposal: Use a neutral
picture without a number for indicator and app-icon as long as an automatically
change of icon can't be implemented.
The "25" and "28" are very irritating and misleading.

Basically it doesn't automatically login with the --autologin option
passed to getty. Moving back to upstart fixed the problem.
