I am also affected by this bug, having ~6000 user accounts on my system.
I observe exactly the same things as reported in the original bug report.
I think that lightdm should not consult accountsservice at all,
when the number of existing users is large (e.g. more than 100, could be set in

This bug has starting affecting one of my production servers. I would
classify it as "critical". I turned off and uninstalled the screensaver
on this computer, but apparently that is not enough to prevent Ubuntu
from going to sleep. It will go to sleep by itself even if there is NO
SCREENSAVER app

This bug is about random log off's, not preventing a machine from going
to sleep and issues derived from that. I believe you commented in the
wrong bug. Please either find an appropriate bug or enter a new bug
report altogether. Thanks!

I think the problem is that your application runs in the background.
There is no way to bring it focus using the sound menu.
How do I close it?

I installed Ubuntu GNOME 15.04 Beta 2. I set the system locale to Korean
language, which worked okay. When I tried to set regional format (date,
time, currency, number, metric, etc.), however, the options are only
