Hello! I'm not a Ubuntu pro user, but I'm trying to learn more and more.
Yesterday, I experienced the same situation as described here.

Based on the bug description's expected behavior, I say this is fixed.
Whether or not if the Dash should close when clicking on indicators

The problem with the "OnlyShowIn" approach is that it is going to create
a really odd user experience. Should the app show up in the Launcher?
What about the application spread? What if someone pins it on the
launcher? Providing something that is both an application in some states
but not others is
Sebastien, the long-term plan is to implement global menus support in Qt
itself so that appmenu-qt5 becomes redundant.
This will be in Qt 5.6 but we can backport it to our packages next
cycle.

After each reboot, account-polld stops showing incoming emails after
displaying 3 notifications.
The reason for that is that account-polld does not recognize when messages
are cleared from the messaging indicator
Based on comment #15, I'm going to close this Fix Released since it's no
long unusable. I agree that running Compiz/Unity on llvmpipe is not fun
and miss Unity 2d for these types of systems.
