I updated my machine recently to the current Unity 7.2.4 and this
solved this issue for some time.

It was a login after a suspend, meaning a unlock-lock.

i-messages bug is that we're not showing the offending tweet (in this

I can confirm this bug, it is actually a bug in indicator-session so
adding a corresponding task.
Also, please don't call indicators a "system tray", these are two
different applets (and the latter is disabled by default).
