Thank you for taking the time to report this crash and helping to make
this software better. This particular crash has already been reported
and is a duplicate of bug #1199571, so is being marked as such.
As Laney mentoned Shipping upower 0.99 only for GNOME would be a lot of
work. I have however managed to untangle the gnome-desktop transition
from upower, so we can now land that without upower 0.99, in which case
landing upower transition as soon a V opens should probably be ok.

My findings about this bug, so far:
The problem is that there's a mouse grab by compiz at some point, that is
caused by the XGrabButton call in updatePassiveButtonGrabs in window.cpp:
[...]
else
{
/* Grab all buttons */
XGrabButton (screen->dpy (),
AnyButton,
The transparent gap has disappeared and all the other improvements are also
_very_ appreciated! Thank you!

I've had the same bug, however I am unable to open up the copy dialog
(even when using ALT+TAB). It appears to be the same bug as
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity/+bug/887821. As EsAmo
mentioned I have not had any issues with partition mentioned in my
/etc/fstab.

Thanks for the bug report.
I can't reproduce this bug, is it possible that you have set some keyboard
shortcuts that might cause this behavior?
Also, could you explain what you mean by "alignment window"?

Well, I can definitely see a line of lighter pixels on the right edge of

Completely agreed, ussually, Enter launches top left corner icon, whatever
category it is.
However, if the search is still running, the order may change and the user has
no clue what will happen.
The icon that will get the Enter (probably the top left one) should be clearly
highlighted.

Yep, I can confirm that when setting a darker wallpaper, which I used to
have at the time I thought this wasn't a feature, makes the line so
unpronounced that I hadn't noticed it before setting a brighter
wallpaper.
If I may ask - why is this a feature? It looks awkward.

1) Open /usr/share/applications/google-chrome.desktop with sudo
privileges in some editor.
2) Open Chromium or Chrome browser. Does not matter, if it shows in a
different icon or not.
3) Open a terminal and type:

Dragging the handle on the sound menu seems to indicate that it keeps
