Hi together,
this problem affects me too. I take a look at my system and found:
Under unity-tweak-tool the scaling fonts the scaling factor was reduced to
0.86. and I reset it to 1. After reboot it was again 0.86 and after further
reboots it decreases further.

I'm seeing hud-service taking hundreds of MB in 14.04, but I don't use
Firefox (I use Chromium). Is this only for the Firefox issue, should I

After upgrading Ubuntu to 14.04 I noticed that the time is often not
updating in Unity.
The output of the date command is correct and updating. I also have
automatic time update configured in the time settings.
If I kill the indicator-datetime-service process the time indica

/etc/pm/sleep.d/10_restart-networkmanager
works for me with less priority only, e.g. 01_restart... filename.
