Open some applications (in my case psensor and steam) 2. Minimize them 3. Press CTRL+ALT+L or Super+L to lock the screen The minimized windows should never briefly popup before the screen locks. 4. Unlock screen The minimized windows should never re-appear and then re-minimize. The minimized applications must stay minimised through the lock/unlock process.
