I've got the same issues now on 15.04 after last updates(it was working
well on 15.04 last week)

When the screen is locked and the battery is very low the battery symbol is
always white.
Instead I would expect that it becomes red when is low and an exclamation mark
inside when is very low (as it happens when the computer is not locked)

I only get very short "bursts" of the alarm sound when the screen is
sleeping.
It is only working after I activated the phone but then I don't need the alarm
anymore. :(

Probably this bug happens with any window that has keyboard/mouse grab
(not only password dialogs). I've noticed the same problem when using
virtualbox in fullscreen mode (reported as bug #1311036).

Workaround suggested in #6 worked for me until I upgraded linux imag
3.11.0-17
Then compiz returned requiring too much resources to the system (cpu and
ram)
I tried to fix with a intel graphic workaround but without benefits.
For me solution suggested in #
It's been over 20 days now and Unity 7.1.2-14 has been released only for
Ubuntu 14.04 (http://packages.ubuntu.com/en/unity). Will it be released
for 13.10 anytime soon?
